Be at your best, whatever life throws at you

❌Things don’t go to plan ⚾ Life throws unexpected curveballs 🤷‍♂️ Doubt creeps in

😩We find ourselves emotionally exhausted, but we must continue to the other side

Every situation is unique, and three tools that have consistently helped me are:

👉 Establishing and communicating purpose: Why are you doing this? Why must you continue? Find the purpose in your situation and let those around you know too. You can now focus on reaching your target, and you’ll find support from those around you.

👉 Framing: How much emotion does this situation need? Am I overdoing it? It’s easy for us to use more emotional range than we need to. Put the situation in perspective. It’s ok to feel down, and important to process our feelings. But if you need to be effective, you’re going to need to find a balance.

👉 Coping strategies: Make the time and space to take your mind off the situation. Give your brain a rest. My favourites include exercise, spending time with friends, and mindfulness.

I hope these tools help you too.
